Sapporo Beer is committed to enriching the lives of our customers and bringing pleasant memories to all through the production and sale of fine spirits.
Since our founding days in 1876, our pioneering spirit has continued for over 140 years of passion for craftsmanship. Two noted brands that we have developed over the years through feedback from customers and that are now beloved are Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label and Yebisu Beer.
When it comes to raw ingredients, we grow beer barley and hops in-house and employ a globally unique system of farm contracts that allow our field staff to work directly with producers on the farm. This ensures that we can continue to provide products that are safe and of the highest quality.
In addition, we operate the Sapporo Beer Museum, the only museum to beer in all of Japan, and the Museum of Yebisu Beer, which focuses on the history of our Yebisu Beer, taking its name from the Ebisu area, which is considered the best place to live in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Furthermore, we operate the Japan Beer Kentei, a certification system we launched in 2012 in order to contribute to the growth of Japanese beer culture.
Yet we go beyond just beer. Sapporo Beer also develops one-of-a-kind products and services around wine, shochu liquor, Western-style liquor, RTD, and non-alcoholic beverages.
