The Museum of Yebisu Beer will resume operations of free tours, shops, and tasting salons from Tuesday, October 12th.
In order to prevent infection with the new coronavirus and prevent its spread,we are restricting visits and excursions to the museum. Please refrain from visiting the following customers.

  • Those who have had a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher on the day of the visit
  • Those who have had a fever, cold-like symptoms, fatigue, cough, etc. within the last 2 weeks
  • Those who do not wear a mask
  • Those who cannot follow the staff's instructions when visiting the museum

Yebisu, the namesake of a neighborhood

Yebisu Beer was first produced here in 1890. This museum lets you take a trip through time to learn about the history of how Yebisu Beer developed over the years.

Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

  • The consumption of alcohol by those under twenty years of age is prohibited by the Minor Drinking Prohibition Act.
  • You may be asked to present a proof of ID in order to verify your age.
  • Note that if we discover a minor consuming alcohol, or a chaperone who tacitly allowed a minor to consume alcohol, we will report it to the authorities.
  • If you are a driver or designated driver (includes bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles) or pregnant or breastfeeding, you may select from a non-alcoholic beer or a soft drink. Driving under the influence of alcohol is prohibited by law.



Tasting Salon (Paid Tasting Corner)

This salon-style area serves a variety of Yebisu Beer for sale with Yebisu Coins (must be purchased separately). Coins can be purchased from vending machines on-site. There are also exclusive snacks and small dishes.

*Please understand in advance that usage time of Tasting Salon is limited to 30 minutes.
*More seats are available between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

*Please refrain from taking glasses home with you.

We are located 3 minutes’ walk from the last point on the Skywalk.
